In 2019 we did research in a few areas in Ecuador to see who really needed help. We were able to connect with a teacher in the Quingeo, Ecuador area that explained her students situation. Not only are they all poor children that work on their family's farms up in the mountains of Ecuador but, early in the morning they have to get up, face the cold mountain air, and take the 20-30 min walk to school everyday in old, worn out clothes and shoes. Their parents don't have the money for extras let alone new clothes, as that is high community in Ecuador, they just do their best to provide for them day to day. In hearing this we went to work and God's Love Language was born.

If you do this, Adonai your God will bless you in all your work, in everything you undertake — for there will always be poor people in the land. That is why I am giving you this order, ‘You must open your hand to your poor and needy brother in your land.’

​In 2019, we were able to give over 250+ kids from 4 indigenous communities of Quingeo, Ecuador new boots and a holiday bag full of candies and treats for the winter holiday season.
Even thought it barely scratched the surface of what we hope to do, the parents and children were so appreciative. It made a world of difference in how they can run, play, go to school, and even work on the farm all with just a new set of boots. This stirred a passion in us to continue to support and do more for them year by year.
In 2020, there was a hold on anything allowed to be given out in Ecuador due to Covid. In this pause of giving, we were allowed to restructure and look at greater realities of what we can do for the poor families in the mountains and farms of Ecuador.

Now, in 2021, we have a plan we are looking to fulfill, as listed below. Already we have set our sights on continuing to raise money annually to be able to give more and more communities of families just like these what they really need most.
Currently, we are in our 2021 fundraising push for the big end of the year blessing for the 250+ kids in the mountains of Quingeo, Ecuador. We are in the process of raising $4,500+ to send what they need most, new boots! These boots are not just for work or play but for going to school, doing chores around the farm, and keeping their feet warm and clean. We again plan to send a holiday bag of candies as before but also want to send each family home with a loaf of traditional holiday Ecuadorian bread and if possible American toys.

An official FIFA soccer ball might seem like a simple gift to give a child, but to these kids it is something they would never think to be able to see, hold, and play with in their whole life. We want to give these families more joy then every before by not just meeting their needs but giving into their kids childhood of play time too!

As we do believe needs come first, anything over the need of $3,500 for the clothes, bread, and holiday bag will go to toys and gifts for the family; so...

There will be numerous ways to give in 2022 as we plan to continue this annual giving of clothes, food, and necessities to the people of Ecuador. Beyond the joy of giving we will be hosting creative and fun events for people like you to connect and meet others in the local community, grow in language, and support those in need.​
